We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, organization details, and license information (license numbers, expiration dates, jurisdictions). We also collect documents you upload (license cards, certificates, insurance documents) and usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps).
We use your information to provide the Service: tracking licenses, verifying credentials against state databases, sending renewal reminders, generating compliance reports, and managing documents. We also use data to improve the Service, provide customer support, and send transactional emails.
When you add a license, we may check it against publicly available state and municipal licensing databases. This involves sending the license number and holder name to public government data portals. No private or sensitive information beyond what is already public record is transmitted.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Neon PostgreSQL for structured data, Cloudflare R2 for documents). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.

When you generate a shareable compliance link, the recipient can view a read-only summary of compliance status without creating an account. Shared links expire after 30 days by default and can be revoked at any time. We track view counts on shared links.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it. Uploaded documents are permanently deleted from storage upon deletion.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may export your data through the compliance report and PDF packet features. You may close your account at any time through Settings.
LicenseFlow is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
